🧠 Quick Take

📖 What It’s About (No Spoilers)

Eva is starting over in a new town with her soon-to-be husband and her ten-year-old son, along with a fresh career as a wedding planner. But during her very first week on the job, she’s shaken when she meets a new client’s fiancé — a man who looks exactly like her late husband, Hugo. As Eva tries to make sense of the impossible resemblance, unsettling questions surface about the past, the truth she’s been living with, and whether some secrets were never truly buried.

👎 What Didn’t Quite Work

  • Some character decisions felt frustrating or hard to buy into fully
  • A few plot elements required a bit of suspension of disbelief
  • The ending felt a bit rushed after so much buildup.
